The reveal of ” Diablo Immortal ” at Blizzcon 2018 was a scandal. Gamers had hoped for ” Diablo 4 ” and tore up the smartphone offshoot. Since then, things have calmed down and after an extremely promising closed beta phase, interest in the game is now quite high. The problem: Developer Blizzard is not in the slippers. About three and a half years after the announcement, the title is still not available. So far, the manufacturer has only referred to a launch in 2022. Now, however, a release seems to be getting closer.
Since the end of the test phase, which was limited exclusively to Android smartphones, gamers have been able to pre-register for the title in the Google Play Store. iPhone users, on the other hand, have been left dry so far. That is now changing! Blizzard is now launching an official “pre-order campaign” in the Apple App Store. However, you cannot actually order anything there. As in the case of the Google Play Store, simply pre-register to download the free-to-play title, which is free in its basic version. As soon as the game is available, you will receive a message and the app will automatically land on your phone.

Release date still unknown

However, when the time will come is still in the stars. According to media reports, June 30, 2022 was temporarily found as the start date in the App Store. Blizzard has now confirmed that it was just a placeholder. And yet: Pre-registration could be worthwhile. According to Blizzard, all pre-registered users will receive the “Horadrim” accessory set for free – but only if at least 30 million gamers have registered for the adventure in advance. If you succeed, you must complete the “Diablo Immortal” tutorial within 30 days of the game’s release in order to actually get the set.
To celebrate the start of registrations in the App Store, Blizzard has released a fresh trailer for the game. It shows the Horadric set in action on different character classes. The video can be found above this message.
